The Radio Amateurs of Canada Region of Ontario North comprises Eastern Ontario (Postal Code prefix K) and Northern Ontario (Postal Code prefix P). It extends from the Manitoba border to the Quebec border and from James Bay as far south as Parry Sound, Gravenhurst, Lindsay and Port Hope. In contrast, the RAC Field Service's Ontario Section includes all of Ontario. As is the case with club listings, it would not be prudent to establish a separate file on this web site for club resources as there are master listings already on the RAC web site. Below, I have provided convenient links to those master listings. Your primary RAC resource is the Affiliated Club Coordinator for your territory within the Region. He can help you to secure speakers from RAC. Most RAC Executive and officials will be pleased to visit your club to speak about their portfolio - their responsibilities and current issues. Please restrict your requests to those located within, or responsible for activities, in Ontario North. Remember that RAC travel budget funds are very limited (or non-existent). Contact the Section Bulletin Manager to generate a bulletin of regional or local interest such as publicity for a fleamarket or club activity. This would be distributed via the National Traffic System on nets within the region. The RAC National Bulletin Editor deals only with bulletins of Canada-wide interest.
