This page is devoted to this individual band. Click here for the RAC Bandplan for this band. See also the links that apply to several or all VHF, UHF and Microwave bands. The 902 - 928 MHz band in Region 2 (the Americas) is shared with many other services such as Radars, Fixed and Mobile operations. 33 cm is not an amateur radio band in ITU Regions 1 and 3. In Canada we have a secondary allocation which means we may not interfere with Government of Canada ship borne radars which are the principle primary users. Likewise we must accept interference from Industrial, Scientific and Medical (ISM) users. Spread Spectrum and ATV seem to be the post popular Amateur use of the band Also, have a look at our VHF / UHF page and the RAC 902 MHz Bandplan Here are some links which you may find useful if you wish to operate 902-928 MHz. |
