SINGLE OP ALL BANDS (HIGH POWER)
Top scorer was VE3KZ, with 876,530
points, runner-up, VE2ZP with 827,824 and VE6ZA with 389,400.
SINGLE OP ALL BANDS (LOW POWER)
VE5SF took the lead in this
category with a score of 624,875. VE1OP
was in second place with 433,758.
SINGLE OP QRP
VA3CRA led the pack in the QRP
class with a score of 139,780, followed by VE3HYK racking up 108,014 points.
SINGLE OP SINGLE BAND
Participation doubled over the
previous year with two stations competing on 144 MHz. VE6JY took a long lead,
1320 points vs. 10 points for VE7ZEP.
VE6JY with VE6JTM operating, gave
way to top scorer, VE3FIT on 50 MHz.
VE6JY with VE6CBS operating,
gained top position on 28 MHz with 1632 points.
VE5MX operated VE6JY and took a
commanding lead on 21 MHz.
VA7RR was the runaway “wet”
coast station against 24 stations competing on 14 MHz. With 178,158 points he
out-distanced his nearest rival VE6BF, also operating at VE6JY, who turned in
109,120 points.
Competitors on 40, 80 and 160 were
lesser in numbers with VA3TTT, VA3SY and VO1NA leading the pack on each
respective band.
MULTI OPERATOR – MULTI TRANSMITTER
Hamilton ARC station VE3DC jacked
up its score by an impressive 170,000+ points to move from their previous
year’s second place standing and beat out VE5RAC for the top spot. VA3DJ and
VE3s AHQ, BK, JAI, NYX, OZO, RYI, SS VMO, VZ and YOC made up the operating team.
