Complete, print & mail to your Emergency Coordinator (EC) or Section
Manager (SM).
DO NOT SEND TO THE VPFS. All
information is required
in order to assist the EC in determining his/her local resources, thereby
enabling optimum use of those resources. Information requested is solely
for purposes related to activities of the RAC Field Services (FS). The ARES is a
serious community
resource with a long
history of public service originating with its inception in 1935. It has
responded countless times to communications emergencies and experience has
proven the worth of regular practice within an organized group. Membership in RAC
is highly desirable but not required for registration as a volunteer
operator, nor is possession of any special equipment.
