Instructors' Guide for the Basic Amateur Course

For everyone who has ever tried to teach an Amateur Radio class, here is the definitive How-To guide. This CD/ROM, which follows the RAC Study Guide for the Basic Qualification, contains lesson plans for each of the 17 chapters, suggestions for presentation, demonstrations and class activities.

This CD/ROM includes all of the diagrams and charts from the book in a printer-friendly format for making overhead slides or direct projection. Additional slides and pictures have been added. Internet links to reference material and the complete Industry Canada Question Bank, sorted by chapter topic, makes creating reviews and quizzes easy.

The answers to each question are also on the CD/ROM. The authors have had extensive experience teaching the Basic Course and the material here is the result of that experience.

The CD/ROM will run on any computer or operating system that has a CD/ROM drive and a browser. Netscape Navigator version 4.5 or up is recommended on all platforms. Internet Explorer has been tested on Windows and Opera on Linux.

A laser or ink-jet printer is required to produce overhead slides.
