New to the line-up of ARES items is the RAC Amateur Radio Emergency Service all-season jacket.  Both the wind-proof, water repellent outer shell and the zip-out inner fleece jacket are embroidered on the left breast with the ARES logo. The back of the yellow jacket has "EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS" imprinted below the RAC logo.  Thus the wearer is readily identified as a member of the emergency communications team, increasing the ARES profile.

This excellent quality jacket has several handy pockets, some zippered, some velcroed.  Both the outer shell and the fleece liner jackets have an inside pocket suitable for a small handheld transceiver or cell phone.

Bright yellow with black accents, this jacket is comprised of a 100% Nylon exterior shell with a 100% Polyester upper mesh body for "breathability". It has a removable hood.  The black inner zip- out fleece jacket is 100% Polyester with a 100% Nylon lining of its own.  Both the jacket and the zip-out fleece are washable.

The jackets are available in Men's sizes Small, Medium, Large and X- Large, and the Ladies version is available in Small, Medium and Large.
