I thought it would be a good idea if somebody manned Camp X, in Whitby ON, to help celebrate one of the Canadian contributions to WWII. It is now a commemorative area, named Intrepid Park.

More of interest to hams, the HYDRA network was built, and initially operated by, Bernie Sandbrook (SK), VE3ATI. I met Bernie as we both served on the board of Toronto FM Communications Society, Inc., and his call is now kept as a memorial by the club repeater custodian.
Looking for operators with WWII vintage equipment.
