Complete, print & mail to your Emergency Coordinator (EC) or Section Manager (SM).  DO NOT SEND TO THE VPFS. All information is required in order to assist the EC in determining his/her local resources, thereby enabling optimum use of those resources. Information requested is solely  for purposes related to activities of the RAC Field Services (FS).  The ARES is a serious community resource with a long history of public service originating with its inception in 1935. It has responded countless times to communications emergencies and experience has proven the worth of regular practice within an organized group.  Membership in RAC is highly desirable but not required for registration as a volunteer operator, nor is possession of any special equipment. All Radio Amateurs can be of assistance to the ARES. To learn more about the RAC FS and the ARES, visit www.rac.ca. Original Form Design by ARES Niagara, T. Vince VE3HM, D. Flarity VE3DVE, & P.
