The Government of Canada’s “Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) 2017” initiative provides funding to not-for-profit organizations, public-sector employers and small businesses with 50 or fewer employees to create summer job opportunities for young students between 15 and 30 years of age. CSJ is a competitive program.

Budget 2016 added $113 million per year for three years to the 2015 CSJ $107.5 million budget. It is an excellent way to support organizations and businesses in our community and to provide meaningful work experience for students in the area.
