Mr. Morgan is a supporter of ham radio.
At the recent Saskatchewan Hamfest hosted by the Meewasin Amateur Radio Society (MARS) Mr. Morgan gave a speech praising ham radio and noting the important role for hams in assisting communities during emergencies. He was a key voice in ensuring that hams in Saskatchewan were not impacted by legislation designed to eliminate cell phone use while driving. RAC was pleased to present him with a Maple Leaf Operators Membership Certificate.,
