On August 8, 2018, Norway got an updated Amateur licence allowing all Norwegian Amateurs access to 50-52 MHz with a power of 1 kW.
Other new privileges include permission for non-Amateurs to operate an Amateur station under supervision of a licensed Amateur for training and educational purposes.
On higher bands, the use of 1 kW for EME and Meteor Scatter on 69.9-70.5 MHz, 144-146 MHz, 432-438 MHz and 1240-1300 MHz do not require any additional regulatory application.
