RAC President Geoff Bawden VE4BAW, provided an update from his AB/SK tour over the past week-end.

Amateurs from Edmonton and Red Deer areas, who provided radio assistance during the Southern Alberta Floods last year, were recognized at a BBQ in Edmonton on Saturday September 27, 2014. The Northern Alberta Radio Club (NARC) put on the event, following the one year anniversary of the floods.

Certificates signed by RAC President, Geoff Bawden VE4BAW, NARC EC, Kerry Atkinson VE6GG and Central Alberta Amateur Radio Club (CAARC) EC, Jeff Low VA6JL, all attending for the presentations by head table including NARC President, Barry Cherneske VA6MIA, to all participants, who were able to attend. RAC Alberta SEC Neal Sunderland VE6NL and SM Garry Jacobs VE6CIA were also present for the event to support the very well deserved recognition.  Next up in tour: Saskatchewan!
