The following individuals were elected to the Board of Directors of the South Shore of Montreal Amateur Radio Club on November 8.
President: Benjamin Corey-Chartrand, VA2XBC
Secretary: Normand Martel, VE2UM
Treasurer: Kristine Papineau, VE2XKP
Directors: Francois Drien, VE2FDA and Joseph Ramcharran, VA2TJR
Thanks to Noël Marcil, VE2BR, Pierre Goyette, VE2FFE, André Paul, VE2AFP and Rachel Audet, VE2ITI, whom have all retired from the board. We are very happy to welcome all of the new members to the Board and are excited about what the future holds.
The South Shore of Montreal Amateur Radio Club, which currently has 61 members, operates three major repeater installations: VE2RSM (145.390- T103.5), VE2RSP FM/C4FM (444.100+ T103.5) and VA2CLM (449.075- T103.5). One of the repeaters is in the new C4FM mode and all are located in the Montreal metropolitan area. The club also holds an annual Hamfest in October.
