We have had notifications from several members that they are getting emails to their RAC email alias accounts with the following:
Subject: Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender
Hackers are spoofing the RAC email addresses and each sample sent is coming from a different web address mostly in Russia.
Note: The very bottom of these emails have a content Subject Line which says: *****SPAM***** Your account has been hacked! You need to unlock.
The RAC email filtering system is marking them as ****SPAM****.
The message is looping back as not delivered because the hacker is inserting the sender and receipient as the same <>.
Your choice: just delete the spam email or if they become a real nuisance, submit an email request to the webmaster to delete your alias account for a few weeks.
