Richmond Amateur Radio Club Swap Meet

Manitoba Ham Fest

Sponsor: Brandon Amateur Radio Club

Date: Saturday, August 13

Place: Austin, MB; Pioneer building at the Manitoba Agricultural Museum. If attending the Ham Fest, there is no charge to enter the Museum grounds. Public enter hamfest on the west side and vendors on the east side.

Time: Vendors 10 am; Public 11 am to 3 pm.

Cost: Public $5 (includes an entry into the door prizes); Tables $10 vendor entrance at the overhead door on the east side. Food and coffee will be available onsite.

Parry Sound Amateur Radio Club Hamfest

Date: Saturday, August 13

Place: Nobel, ON; McDougall Recreation Centre, 148 Hammel Ave P2A 2W9

Time: Vendors 7 am; Public 9 am.

Cost: Public free admission; Vendors indoor only: 1st Table $15; 2nd and more $10 each. We have decided to only use the rink surface for vendor tables. No sidewalk tables. Supply your own tables, $12 each spot. Tailgating can be done this year but will be limited to 6 parking spots on a first come reserve base. Per Tailgate Parking spot $15.

Hanover Ham Haul

Sponsor: Local Amateur Operators. 

Date: Saturday, August 20.

Place: Hanover, Ontario; Hanover Drive-in Theatre and enter at the Ticket booth. GPS the coordinates are 44.1508° N, 81.0033° W.

Time: Vendors 8:30; Public 9:30 until 1 pm.

Cost: Public $5; Vendors $5 plus admission. Children under 12 free. 

Description: Proceeds go to local charities. The event is an open air tailgate type event and will run regardless of the weather.

Vancouver Island Ham Happenings

Sponsor: Cowichan Valley Amateur Radio Society

Date: Sunday, August 28

Place: Crofton, BC; Crofton Community Centre, 8104 Musgrave Street.

Time: Vendors 8 am; Public 9 am to noon.

Cost: Entry: $5, Tables $20 (includes one entry).

Description: CVARS will be liquidating SK donations at great prices. This event sold out last time so get your tables early.

Ottawa (Carp) Hamfest

Sponsor: Ottawa Amateur Radio Club.

Date: Saturday, September 10

Place: Ottawa (Carp), ON; Carp Agricultural Fairgrounds in the W. Erskine Johnston Arena, 3882 Carp Road.

Time: Commercial vendors: 7:30 am; Private Vendors: 8 am; Public: 9 am to noon.

Cost: Public $6; Vendors $14/table plus admission. Please book tables early to reserve your preferred table location.

Description: The region’s largest fleamarket and hamfest. All of the big Ham Radio retailers are going to be there! Major doorprize draws. Breakfast, coffee, and snack concession in the lobby area. Onsite Amateur Radio licence exams.

London Amateur Radio Club Hamfest

Date: Sunday, September 18

Place: Dorchester, ON; 4939 Hamilton Road.

Time: 9 am to 12 noon

Cost: Public $8; Tables and Tailgating $7 plus $8 admission.

Description: Shop and find many things you might want or need. Book a table and sell some of the things you found while we were all shut down. See friends you haven’t seen in years.

RAC Canada 2022 Conference and AGM

We are pleased to present the “Canada 2022 Conference” to give all Amateurs a chance to get together and see what’s happening in Amateur Radio – now and in the future. 

Date: Sunday, September 18

Place: The Canada 2022 Conference and the RAC Annual General Meeting will be an online virtual event via Zoom as in the last two years.

Time: Conference 12 noon until 3:50 pm followed by the RAC Annual General Meeting at 4 pm.

Description: An interactive mini-conference that will feature interesting presentations on a wide range of topics followed by the AGM.

WARA Swap Meet 2022
