Hamstudy Basic 2025 will soon be available in print for students who prefer to study from a book. The fifth edition of Hamstudy Basic will be available from Amazon. A RAC bulletin and this page will announce when the printed book is available.
Please note this is a self-study course with no instructor.
How to obtain a Hamstudy subscription:
1) Choose your subscription length: 30 or 90 days.
2) Use the PayPal buttons in the registration form to make an online payment to Radio Amateurs of Canada (RAC).
3) For alternate methods of payment, RAC accepts Interac e-Transfers. Please arrange with the RAC Office Manager by sending an email to Please do not submit the form below if you intend to pay via e-Transfer. Instead please wait for instructions from the manager.
4) Logon information is usually sent to your email address within 48 hours. If not received, please send an email to or leave a phone message with your phone number at 613-244-4367 or 877-273-8304. Phone messages will be monitored from 10 am to 4 pm ET, Monday through Friday (except statutory holidays).
5) Subscription information will be kept confidential and will only be used for the purpose of providing Hamstudy subscriptions.
6) Subscriptions start on the day we email your login information. Subscriptions end 30 or 90 days after the subscription start date.
