“Germany plays host to the world”
Ham Radio 2020 – the 45th International Amateur Radio Exhibition – will take place from June 26 to 28 in Friedrichshafen, which is located on the northern shoreline of Lake Constance (the Bodensee) in Southern Germany, near the borders of both Switzerland and Austria.
The event is organized by the Deutscher Amateur Radio Club (DARC), Germany’s International Amateur Radio Union (IARU) member-society, and attracts exhibitors and visitors from more than 50 countries all round the world.
A special feature of the event is the combination of commercial exhibitors, worldwide networked associations and Europe’s largest radio fleamarket with over 300 participants from 25 countries. This year’s slogan is “QRP: Less is More”.
The 71st Lake Constance DARC Conference will also be held and will include a comprehensive program of presentations and meetings during all three days.
The official opening will take place on Friday, June 26 at 10 am. The Informal International Meeting for representatives of IARU member societies will be held on Friday, June 26 at 4 pm.
