RAC President Allan Boyd, VA3AJB, attended the annual Board of Directors meeting of the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) in Windsor, Connecticut which was held on January 17 and 18, 2025.
The ARRL Board Meetings are held twice each year, in January and July, and RAC President Allan Boyd, VA3AJB, and International Amateur Radio Union (IARU) President Tim Ellam, VE6SH, attended the meeting as guests of the Board.
At the meeting the ARRL Directors nominate and elect a President, a First Vice President, a Second Vice President, an International Affairs Vice President, a Secretary, a Treasurer, a Chief Executive Officer and a Chief Financial Officer as officers who serve on the Board of Directors.
This was the first ARRL Board Meeting attended by RAC President Allan Boyd, VE3AJB, after becoming the new RAC President in November 2024 and he extended greetings and best wishes from Radio Amateurs of Canada.
