Field Day 2026: Weekend of June 27-28

Field Day is held annually during the fourth full weekend in June. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, June 27 and Sunday, June 28, beginning at 1800 UTC Saturday and running through 2059 UTC Sunday.

Sponsored by the ARRL and RAC, but organized primarily by the ARRL, Field Day is open to all Amateur Radio operators covered by these two International Amateur Radio Union (IARU) member organizations.

RAC Will Not Attend Hamvention this Year

At its meeting on March 27, 2025, the Board of Directors of Radio Amateurs of Canada voted unanimously to cancel RAC’s plans to operate a booth at Hamvention (Dayton) in Xenia, Ohio in May.

The annual Commonwealth Contest (CC) takes place very soon from 1000z Saturday, March 8 to 0959z Sunday March 9. This 24-hour CW-only contest takes place on the five HF contest bands (80, 40, 20, 15 and 10 metres). 

Le Concours du Commonwealth (CC) annuel aura lieu très bientôt, de 10 h 00 UTC le samedi 8 mars à 9 h 59 UTC le dimanche 9 mars. D’une durée 24 heures, ce concours réservé aux communications en code Morse se déroule sur les cinq bandes utilisées pour les compétitions (80, 40, 20, 15 et 10 mètres).
